I had a Fun Morning with 250 students at Admiral Elementary talking about Nutrition!

In 2007, Statistics Canada found that 29% of adolescents were overweight....
Here's the problem, most kids/adolescents do not outgrow this problem….in fact, many continue to gain excess weight

4 Steps to Prevent Childhood obesity !

1. 5 fruits & vegetables per day or more

2. 2 hours or less of screen time

3. 1 hour physical activity per day or more

4. 0 sugar sweetened beverages per day

“Currently children and youth average close to 8 hours of screen time per day
